About “Willing, Working Hands”:

“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.  She…worketh willingly with her hands.” -Proverbs 31: 10,13

Perhaps this is one of my favorite ministry areas – I LOVE creating and making things with my hands :-).  God made us to be active beings! We were made to enjoy active, productive work – work that benefits us and those around us! Just take a look at Adam & Eve and the special work given them to do in the perfect Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:15)!

As members of the family, God has given men and women special roles to help our lives run more orderly and smoothly!  While the man’s main responsibility is to spiritually lead and work to provide the means for the their family, God has especially blessed women with the special responsibility of keeping the home itself and teaching and nurturing the children of the home (Titus 2:4,5).  Along with that high calling comes the important duties of cooking, cleaning, organizing, decorating (making the house a welcoming home), teaching, gardening, and more!

This is such a high and holy calling friends!

Well, along with those many special duties, are many ways that us as ladies can be good stewards, wives, and daughters by saving money when we fulfill these duties! We, ourselves, can make many of the things that we need in order to carry out our high calling as virtuous women!  From making healthful and natural cleaners and body products, to making devotional journals, and to altering that awesome thrifted skirt to fit you just right,  join us as we learn how to use the gift of our hands to help to inexpensively make our houses homes where angels and our family members love to dwell! To be able to use our skillfully use our hands to help meet life’s needs is such a blessing! Let’s have willing, working hands that we and our homes may always be prepared, by God’s grace, for the every day needs and unexpected turns of life!
