Are you trying to come up with better options for you and/or your children’s “fun” time?
Perhaps you are trying to steer away from the worldly TV shows and movies that aren’t promoting pure biblical principles. Perhaps you’d like to do more activities together as a whole family.
Well, I have a super fun and uplifting game, that I think you’ll like to try!
Check out the video below, to see a bit of how my sister and I (and often the rest of our family too!) sometimes have some rest and recreation time playing this fun game! Basically, everyone participating takes turns drawing pictures to represent a Bible story, or even a word, place or lesson. The rest of the team has to figure out what the artist drew! What’s great, is that to avoid competition and to promote unity, you all can play as a team and challenge yourselves to see how many drawings you can guess correctly in a certain period of time! Super fun 🙂
And to encourage even more growth from this fun activity, the artist should share the lesson God teaches us from what they drew, and what that story (or word/place/lesson) means personally to them as they seek to grow closer to Christ! Fun and ennobling. LOVE IT! And it never get’s old, because there are so many Bible stories and items, places, lessons, etc. that you can draw! Oh, and most “big kids” love playing this too – I know I do! :)Enjoy and God bless!
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” -Philippians 4:8
